I have T in just one ear, my left ear and lately I've noticed that the sound quality is not as good in it. This is especially noticeable when wearing
headphones. It sounds like a clipping or buzz that replaces parts of it... like a bad quality sound file or video.
Does anyone else experience this? |

I experience the same thing in my left ear but I only have 50% of my hearing in that ear. If I use a headphone in that ear it sounds distorted. Have you had a
hearing test?

Certain frequencies make my ear sound like a blown speaker, sometimes even my own voice (which is a real problem, dangit!). I have T in both ears,
"Normal" hearing in my right ear and moderate hearing loss in the left.

I have had that same problem where my voice does not sound natural. It's not like that all the time it only happens every once in a while and then goes
away. When I first got my hearing aid I thought it was the way they tuned it and kept going back for adjustments. Now I know it's just my left ear going
through something. When I have days like this or other kind of bad tinnitus days I just get through my day and go to bed early. Rest is the best thing for
tinnitus.

I've not had a hearing test but just doing simple observations.. such as putting a phone to my ears with a dial tone and seeing how it sounds more
clipped/distorted in the T ear as opposed to the other. There doesn't seem to be a loss in volume tho.
