How do 'YOU' pronounce tinnitus?

That was the 5 min. lol. Yea I dumped him like the trash most drs are. My msn name is " &$@! all doctors" Havent found one yet that showed they even gave half a rats bum about me. And ive suffered for 5 years so .. lol. T has only been lil over 1 year but ive had trigeminal problems and vertigo for going on 5 years. Sigh well enough bashing that guy onto finding a good dr, ENT # 6 here I come appt is the 30th.

Posts: 27329 06/18/06 12:33 AM Admin Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I usually say "tih-NYE-tus," but when I read silently, the word "sounds" like "TIN-nih-tus." When talking to doctors, I sometimes say "TIN-nih-tus" because some of them prefer it.

I had grown used to my TiNightUs but now I had a new problem, TiniTus and then I got scared. I didn't want TiniTus. I'm starting to call it "Janet" now so we can be like...friends, or lovers who quarrel every now and then but always find a way to make up (at least for a little while until she starts screaming in my ear again)..

Many people pronounce it tin-night’-us while others, including most doctors, prefer to say tin’-i-tus. Both pronunciations are considered correct and many dictionaries list it either way.
