Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	If you are talking about the medical benefits of marijuana for tinnitus, my guess would be that there has been no study done to indicate whether it is beneficial in facilitating habituation or reducing the physiological level of ones tinnitus. If on the other hand you are asking anecdotal opinions then that is another matter. Not sure how you tie a/d's and anxiety meds into the equation though? regards greg

Pot, anxiety meds, and ADs are listed like candidates in an election. Are people to pick one of the three choices if it helped their ear conditions personally? What if two of the three choices helped then how should a person vote? What if someone tried just one of the three and it helped; should he or she vote for that one, not knowing whether the others might have been just as good? What if someone tried one, two, or all three and nothing helped? Or are you asking for opinions on what might work, regardless of whether voters have experience with the three kinds of drugs?

Posts: 975 (11/08/07 8:03 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	For me, pot increases the perceived volume of the tinnitus...BUT often i don't even notice the t, as the pot also allows my mind to concentrate on other things to the degree that i forget about the tinnitus for a time. During my first few yrs of t, however, a couple of times, smoking pot gave me panick attacks because the t volume increased. I decided then, to NOT toke, until i got a grip on the t. Mind you, my t is of a medium mild nature.

It possibly could help you, if you're completely comfortable smoking it, I was always worried about being caught, hense the anxiety. personally i think a mixture of AD and Anti Anx might work best, but try whatever works for you

The increase is only temporary - But the psychological benefit is worth it.

Really there are also arguments that support the fact that marijuana is dangerous but it's more comfortable for some of us to just ignore these facts. These people should check more information on California drug rehab, they may find something interesting there.
