I only have it in one ear. Its mild and doesn't bother me. I can sleep fine. Sometimes I feel like Its gone. It all started when a small firecracker blew up near me. My ear rang for few seconds and went back to normal. I don't notice any hearing loss. The next day I started noticing ringing in my ears. Not the day it happened. Since I have anxiety I started googling about hearing loss. Then I read about Tinnitus. I started freaking out about it. It's been 2 weeks and I still have it. I've been depressed since then. I'm scared by age 40 i'm gonna hear the ringing all day. I also noticed that when I swallow my ears pop or crackle. I went to the doctor and he said its allergies. I'm taking claritin. Its been 5 days with claritin. I've had anemia before so maybe I got it again. I also have overbite. In conclusion im confused why I only have it in one ear if both of my ears were exposed by the firecracker. Sorry if this doesn't make sense. I'm a 15 year old and I want to have a good future and the thought of my tinnitus staying forever is scaring me to death. I made an appointment with a ENT doctor but I'm just so anxious and want to whats going on with me.
