It also mentioned that the Starkey hearing aid company has a fundation that distributes over 10,000 hearing aids a year to those that qualify.. I wrote to them in behalf of my mother who needs hearing aids and is widow on a fixed Social Security income..I have not heard back from them yet. I hope for those of you who need hearing aidas or know of someone that needs them and can't affod them, or not covered by insurance, this information may be of use to you.. I will keep you posted if they write back to me.. Sorry this message was split in 2 posts..I am not a computer or typing whiz..Sorry about that..Just hope the info might help someone.. Mia

I have not heard back from the foundation., as I asked general questions on how to obtain these free services for my mom..I still hope they would e-mail back on the proper way to apply for the services.
