As a kid, I remember frequently being able to hear a "ringing" sound in my ears whenever I was in a quiet room. If I were to sit and listen to the quiet, it would seem like the sound would get louder and louder and louder until I changed my focus and couldnt hear it anymore. I was never bothered by it until about 2 1/2 years ago when it either became worse all the sudden or I simply started to focus and dwell on it. Honestly, I'm not sure.
So I'm wondering if anyone else believes this to be the case. That Tinnitus is something we ALL have to some degree, but most people have simply tuned out since birth.
