Hello everyone,
I have a wedding that I have to go to on Saturday, and I am very concerned about attending. My T has really been acting up the last couple days which feeds my fear. Weddings are loud! Lots of people, lots of noise, lots of loud music in a hall! How do I protect myself from all of these things? My acoustic trauma injury is still new, only happened 3wks ago, and I am so afraid of furthering the injury by doing the wrong thing. I just realized that I have no idea what sounds I should protect from, and which I need not worry about. Geez, my baby girl cries too loud or my 2yo son drops a toy on the hardwood floor and I panic! Can someone tell me the best way to handle this wedding, as well as give me a general guideline as to how to know what sounds are harmful and which aren't? Is there a rule of thumb for this sort of thing? I would like to regain some of my sanity and not have a meltdown at every noise! Thanks!
Tammy
