What exactly is reactive tinnitus? Is it when a certain sound amplifies your t? Is it just that a certain sound hits the same frequency as your t and it
makes it seem louder at the moment?
For instance if your t is a tone of 500Hz, when a piece of equipment emits that frequency, there is a possibility that it would be additive and therefore the t
would be perceived as louder.
Is reactive tinnitus defined by a moment or does it refer to having amplified t for an extended period of time after the sound is withdrawn?
The term is used a lot and I'm not sure I've been using it in the right context.
